15 UG students exempted from exam after testing COVID positive

Hyderabad(Hyd): At the least 15 candidates who attempted to write their own undergraduate (UG) final semester examination in Nizam college have been sent back as they tested positive(+ve) for the new coronavirus (COVID-19) on Thu.. Over 800 candidates surfaced in the institution  college to write the UG final semester exam.

As per sources, candidates have been named 1 hour before the examination in the examination center & the college Mgmt had held a quick test for COVID-19 on candidates who have been regarding to write the examination.

Kota Srinivas, President of Telangana (TL) Vidhyarti Sangham, a student union of Osmania University, stated, “Candidates who have been in hostels have been also known as 2 days before the examination & they have been tested for COVID-19.  On Thu. all this candidates have been tested for the infection & 15 candidates tested positive(+ve) for COVID-19 in the Nizam college in Basheerbagh”.

Srinivas added further that the candidates weren’t to permitted to appear for examination & that they have been inquired to self-quarantine themselves & that they’d be permitted to appear for their own examinations thereafter.
