3 Nigerians held in Assam for entering India without documents

Guwahati: 3 Nigerian nationals have been apprehended from Assam(AS)’s Karimganj dist. on Wed. for reportedly accessing the nation without any valid documents, police officer said.

Throughout routine verifying, police suspended a car coming from Tripura(TR) on Domestic Highway eight in Chuwraibari within the Bazaricherra PS (police station) region & arrested the 3 foreigners as they failed to generate their own passports & valid documents to enter the nation, authorities stated.

Throughout interrogation, they said that they entered India(In) from Bangladesh via Tripura(TR).

A complaint was lodged over the 3 under appropriate sections of the Foreigners Act, 1946 read with Segment six of the Passport (Entry into India(In)) Regulations, 1950, authorities stated.

The apprehended Nigerian nationals were detected as Nnamdi Bernard Nwali, Prince Paul, & Eze Collins, they stated.
