5 killed in twin blasts in Philippines

Manila: At the least 5 citizens have been died after 2 explosions hit the insurgency-plagued town of Jolo within the southern Philippines on Mon..

Initial records stated the 1st blast took place in about afternoon, The Straits Times recorded.

The explosion has been probably targeted in a military truck parked ahead of a commercial apartment nearby Jolo town plaza.

 

A 2nd explosion occurred in about one prime minister, targeting a Catholic cathedral. Although, casualties within the 2nd blast are yet to be ascertained, as per The Straits Times.
