Chicago: American Federation of Muslims of India(In) (AFMI) introduced the AFMI Excellence Award to Indian Ambassador to Saudi Ausaf Sayeed in a convention centre in Chicago, USA.
Dr Sayeed who holds a PhD in Geology is now in Chicago, the U.S. to celebrate in his own son’s wedding. He has been felicitated by this Indian Diaspora for his own contributions in bridging ties between India(In) & USA throughout his own stretch as the Consul Gen. in Chicago.
Dr Sayeed stated that he has been trying to furthermore strengthen ties between India(In) & Saudi.
Previous AFMI president & renowned psychiatrist Dr Mohammed Khutbuddin & AFMI trustee Dr Tajuddin introduced the award to Dr Sayeed in a meeting of eminent Americans of Indian origin in Chicago.
Observed oncologist Dr Tajammul Hussain introduced a vote of gratitude awhile AFMI Trustee Dr Tajuddin Ahmed appreciated Dr Sayeed & different guests.
Mohammed Akram, Syed Ashfaq Hussain & the ambassador’s spouse Farha Sayeed, who’s a renowned artist, have been also present on this occasion.
