Andhra Pradesh to persuade Covid survivors to donate plasma

Amaravati, September 8 : The AP health dept. going to personally contact & persuade citizens who recovered from COVID-19-19 to donate plasma to safeguard lives.

“The health dept. call center going to call the recovered sufferers & tell them regarding the plasma donation program & influence them to donate plasma to safeguard different citizens’s lives,” stated Health Commissioner Katamneni Bhaskar.

The dept. has readied a list of 37,000 citizens who beat the disease, creating them eligible to donate plasma for crucial COVID-19 sufferers.

“The database of eligible donors was equipped & is presently being revealed with the blood banks that have the ability to collect & store plasma,” stated Bhaskar.

The move is aimed in treating COVID-19 sufferers extra effectively & the Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy-led govt going to start a plasma donation campaign shortly.
