“PM Narendra Modi & the BJP have given party labour the mantra of ‘seva bhav’ (service). Inspired by it, I taken blessings of our president J P Nadda & donated plasma today. Appeal all those who suffered from COVID & have regained fitness to donate plasma,” Patra tweeted.
Plasma therapy aims in transfusing plasma (a component of blood) including antibodies donated by a recovered COVID-19 patient to the severe COVID-19 sufferers. Numerous state govts & hospitals have set up plasma banks.
Patra also published photos of his own gathering with Nadda before going to donate plasma in a hospital (3).
The BJP spokesman had contracted the infection some weeks back & has been hospitalised for some of the days in a private ability in Gurgaon.
