Afghanistan: Bomb blast in central Afghanistan kills 15 people

Moscow: At the least 15 citizens have been died in a bomb explosion within the central Afghan area of Daykundi, a spokesperson for the interior ministry, Tariq Arian, stated on Tue.

“A landmine, that has been planted by Taliban militants within the dist. of Karjan within the Daykundi area, has resulted within the demises of 15 citizens,” Arian wrote on Twitter, adding that ladies & kids have been amongst the sufferers.

The Taliban hasn’t commented on the attack till now.

Armed quarrels & bomb blasts continue to effect Afghanistan in spite of the ongoing peace talks between the Afghan govt & the Taliban within the Qatari capital of Doha.

The intra-Afghan negotiations started on Sep 12, with both sides publicly expressing their own desire to conclude a secure & long-lasting ceasefire to end Afghanistan’s long-running conflict.
