Itanagar, September 12 : 5 people from AR, who went missing on Sep two however have been thereafter identified to be in Chinese territory, have been handed over to India(In) by this Citizens’s Liberation Troops on Sat. amidst the ongoing standoff between the 2 nations in the Line of Actual Curb in eastern Ladakh.
The 5 repatriated to India(In) nearly 10 days after they have been reportedly abducted, defense sources stated.
The youths have been handed over to Indian officials in Damai near Kibithu in Anjaw dist. of eastern AR. AR CM Pema Khandu & Union Teenager Affairs & Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju thanked Defense Minister Rajnath Singh & the Indian Troops for the declare of the youths.

I’m wholeheartedly thankful to the Government of India(In) & the Indian Troops for their own persistent measures in securing their own repatriate.”
Rijiju, who’s the Lok Sabha member from AR, stated in a tweet: “All this Five Indian youths from AR who have been got in Kibithu by our Troops from PLA are fit & fine. I also appreciate Raksha Mantri @rajnathsingh ji for the worry he’d shown.”
In a separate tweet the Union minister stated: “I admire Indian Troops for the smooth repatriate of our residents. I appreciate Indian Troops Chief, his own workplace & the regional Commanders for continuously following up the issue & frequently updating me on the issue.”
Defense spokesperson Lt Col Pande stated that AR is well-known for its rich normal heritage & adventurous citizens fond of exploring nature for medicinal herbs & possessing traditional flair for hunting, that involves living off the land for weeks in jungles & far-flung remote regions.
