CM KCR: All Shops To Open in Telangana from 19th May 2024, Bus, Auto, Taxi Will Run

Hyderabad: Telangana CM KCR conducted a cabinet meeting yesterday(Monday) on Lockdown 4 guidelines and shops to open.

CM KCR Meeting Highlights:

  • CM KCR said lockdown will be implemented till 31st May 2024 as per centre’s decision.
  • All shops will be opened from Tuesday(19th May 2024) onwards in Green Zones.
  • Containment Zones/Areas will have all shops remain closed until the next announcement.
  • Except Containment zones state’s remaining areas are declared green zones and can practice new guidelines.
  • Night curfew will be continued from 7 PM to 6 AM as it was earlier.
  • CM KCR insisted on social distancing while selling and buying any products and face masks are mandatory for both buyers and sellers, people without face mask will be subjected to fine of Rs.1000 as set by the state Govt.
  • KCR further said that TS RTC services will be opened from Tuesday(19th-May-2020), Metro and RTC will continue to remain closed.
  • Interstate Bus services will remain closed.
  • Taxis and Autos can run from Tuesday, with these guidelines, taxis must not exceed 3 people other than driver and Autos must not exceed 2 people other than the driver.

What’s Newly Opened Shops/Services

  • TS RTC buses will run from today (Tuesday) only within the Telangana state.
  • Taxis and Autos will run from today (Tuesday). Taxis with a maximum of 3 people and Autos with a maximum of 2 people other than the driver.
  • All Shops will be opened in green zones in Telangana state.
  • e-Commerce and saloon shops will be opened across the state.
  • All shops in Hyderabad will be opened on alternate days, that means, if a shop opens on Monday it will be closed on Tuesday and can be opened on Wednesday.
  • All factories and manufacturing units will run from today.
  • Govt and private offices will work from today.

What’s Still Closed

  • All the worship places, mosques, temples, churches, etc to remain closed.
  • Schools, Colleges, Coaching institutes, Cinemas, pubs, shopping malls, function halls continue to remain closed.
