Anantapuram: A couple, who has been under house quarantine, passed away by leaping off the 3rd floor of their own residential apartment within the Anantapuram dist. of AP on Sun., the police officer said.
Talking to ANI, Dharmavaram DSP Ramakanth stated, “The couple, Phani Raj & Sireesha, of Dharmavaram town in Anantapur dist., have been sensed Coronavirus positive on Jul 25. Their own medication has been full & have been sent for house quarantine.”
“The couple has leaped off from that 3rd floor of the apartment about 2.45 am late last night. The reason for the suicide is not yet well-known,” added further the DSP.
Raj’s dad, who lives alone on the 2nd floor of the same apartment, has been also COVID-19 positive & had fully recovered.
