Delhi BJP chief hails PM Modi’s pro-poor initiatives

New Delhi: Delhi(DL) BJP chief Adesh Gupta on Thu. praised PM Narendra Modi for different welfare initiatives of his own govt to support the poverty-stricken, involving migrant labour, ladies & farmers, during this crises triggered by COVID-19.

The expansion of the Garib Kalyan Anna Yojna by this prime minister until Nov going to benefit 80 cr citizens, involving 70 lakh in Delhi(DL). The scheme going to receive a shot within the arm after the implementation of the 1 country 1 ration card’ schedule, Gupta stated in a press briefing.

He stated over 20 lakh ladies in Delhi(DL) were benefited with direct money transfers of overall INR 305 cr in their own January Dhan accounts throughout 3 mos of lock-down.

Also, over 12,000 farmers in Delhi(DL) have been benefited within the Kisan Samman Nidhi during this period, Gupta added further.
