Ex AFMI President demands Bharat Ratna for Rahat Indori

Hyderabad(Hyd): Dr. Mohammed Khutbuddin, previous President of American Federation of Muslims of India(In) has requested to the central govt to honor Dr Rahat Indori posthumously with Bharat Ratna, India(In)’s largest civilian honor. The celebrated Indian poet moved far away awhile undergoing COVID-19 medication in a hospital (3) on Aug 11 in 70.

Dr Khutbuddin, US-based psychologist of Hyderabadi origin & once a personal advisor to legendary boxer Mohammed Ali, stated “Rahat Indori has been a heartthrob to millions of secular Indians, & a true patriot that reflected in his own works.”

He has been a prominent poet, who’ll remain alive for eternity using his own exceptional works that reached each common person. He has been fearless, a trait that reflected in his own personality & literary works. He has been a philosopher, poet of Urdu & Hindi, lyricist for numerous Bollywood songs & a simple human. He sums that courage & fearlessness have been his own distinction.

“A rare poet who never compromised on his own principles, Rahat Indori’s shayari challenged the fascist entities to the core. He has been a beacon of true love, liberty, courage & a true nationalist”, he stated awhile adding that the govt of India(In) should discuss honoring him with the Bharat Ratna.
