Hyderabad(Hyd): Debatable movie critic Kathi Mahesh has been detained by cybercrime police of the city on the allegations of creating on today for creating offensive comments over Hindu deity Srirama on social media(SM).
He has been thereafter taken to Osmania Gen. Hospital (3) for medical check up . The police afterwards produced him before a magistrate in Nampally offender courts. The magistrate sent Mahesh on 14 days of judicial custody.
The Cyber Offence police booked a offender complaint over Mahesh under segment 153 (A) of IPC.
Mahesh has been previously externed from that city for 6 mos following a similar comments over the same Hindu God. He has been also in information for creating insulting remarks over star changed politician Pawan Kalyan
