Hyderabad(Hyd): The statewide on-going rallies by Swiggy delivery executives in this city entered its 9th day on Wed., & also seen a new form of dissent with the employees coming on their own knees awhile insisting the meal delivery firm to address their own insists.
The indefinite strike started by Swiggy meal delivery executives from Sep 15 by over 3,500 delivery boys over the reduction of order earning, incentive & per km charges.
“Police have refused permission for a dissent in IT corridor. The firm is rejecting to enter into any kinda negotiations with the dissenting delivery executives. The main insist of the strike regarding the restoration of recent payout of INR. 35 for 4km remain unfulfilled. Delivery executives who’re dissenting in a peaceful & non – violent way have been threatened by this Mgmt,” claimed Sk Salauddin Gen. Secretary Indian Federation of Application based Transport labour (IFAT).
Salahuddin said that the Swiggy Mgmt has threatened to stop the enter of the application for the dissenting employees. Meantime, state Labor dept. officials have although not intefered within the issue till now. “Different cities across India(In) are likely to join the strike within the coming days.
