New Delhi(DL) Previous Indian president Pranab Mukherjee has passed away at the age of 84, as per a tweet from his own son.
“With a heavy heart, this is to notify you that my dad Shri #PranabMukherjee has just moved far away despite the finest measures of Doctors of RR Hospital (3) & prayers, duas, & prarthanas from citizens during India(In)! I appreciate all of You,” tweeted Abhijit Mukherjee on Mon.
India(In)’s PM Narendra Modi tweeted a tribute, informing the nation
“He’s left an indelible mark on the development (devt) trajectory of our country. A scholar par excellence, a towering statesman, he has been admired around the political spectrum & by all sections of the community,” Modi wrote.
