Friends: Friends to reunite for one-off special on HBO Max

The star cast of “Friends” is to reunite for a one-off special, over 15 years since the popular show ended.

The episode will broadcast starting in May. There is A date to be declared.

Courteney Cox jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer will appear.

Perry posted on Instagram:”It is happening” with a photograph of the throw from the 1990s. The remainder of the cast began sharing the post.

Friends aired from 1994. The last series was observed by 52.5 million viewers in the united states, which makes it the most viewed TV episode of the 2000s.

The series has picked up legions of lovers .

It had been Netflix’s second series in america in 2018 along with the UK’s favorite series.

After Aniston published a photograph of this cast together rumours of a reunion intensified.

HBO Max has secured rights to the series’s back catalog for $425m (#339m).

“Guess you can call this one where they got back together – we’re reuniting with David, Jennifer, Courteney, Matt, Lisa and Matthew to an HBO Max unique which will be programmed along with the whole Friends Library,” said Kevin Reilly, chief content officer for the station.

He explained that the special will catch the soul of a time when”buddies – and crowds – assembled together in real time”.
