Global COVID-19 Death toll Crosses 5 Million

Washington(WA): The global number of deaths because of COVID-19 crossed five mln mark on Mon., as the overall no. of instances crossed the 10 mln mark, as per the Johns Hopkins University.

Presently, the overall no. of instances rised to 10,199,798, awhile the fatalities rised to 502,947, the University’s Centre for Systems Science & Engineering(engr.) (CSSE) disclosed in its latest update.

COVID-19 Cases in US

The US accounted for the globe’s largest no. of infections & fatalities with 2,564,163 & 125,928, respectively, as per the CSSE.

Brazil had come within the 2nd place with 1,344,143 infections & 57,622 demises.

In terms of Corona cases, Russia ranks 3rd (640,246), & is succeeded by India(In) (548,318), the UK (313,467), Peru (279,419), Chile (271,982), Spain (248,970), Italy (240,436), Iran (225,205), Mexico (216,852), Pakistan(PAK) (206,512), France (199,476), Turkey (198,613), Germany (195,042), Saudi (186,436), Bangladesh (141,801), South Africa (138,134) & Canada (105,615), the CSSE figures demonstrated.
