Gyms in Hyderabad witness less footfall

Hyderabad(Hyd): With Unlock 3.0 instructions in place, gymnasiums, yoga & different fitness institutes in Hyderabad(Hyd) were reopen from Aug 5, albeit with some of the caution. Though the instructions mostly call for physical distancing & sanitisation. From y’day quite a few gyms have been witnessed open however different gym proprietors ruled to re-open after assuring fully sanitized equipment & different safety steps.

The fitness sector has been one such hardest hit by COVID-19 & Unlock 3.0 instructions have took a much-needed respite for large number of citizens whose livelihood depend on gyms & fitness centers.

The Hyderabad(Hyd) Gym Proprietors Association stated that it’ll take (2) extra time for citizens to know that they’re checking a gym that won’t cause them COVID-19.

The Secretary of the Hyderabad(Hyd) Gym Proprietors Association, stated “During this four-month closure, 30-40 gyms in Hyderabad(Hyd) alone had shut down.”

Numerous of them couldn’t afford the rent of INR 50,000 to one lakh & had to shut down. Remaining are still struggling to help themselves. The govt must’ve permitted opening up of the gyms previously, stated Mohammed Sohail, a gym boss from King Koti.

Talking regarding the safety precautions in the gyms, G. Naresh, a gym trainer stated, before accessing the gym 1 must see go under body temp see, afterwards completely sanitize themselves. Gym Mgmt is also offering hand gloves that has to be utilized only for 1 time. Sticking to social distancing is a severe worry & only 20 citizens are being permitted into the gym.

Wearing a proper face mask was mandatory. Also citizens checking gyms were inquired to bring their own own water bottles & too keep the gym building safe from infection.
