Hyderabad(Hyd): Because of fiscal miseries when it had become tough for Mohammed Aqeel Ahmed’s family (4) to help his own education, he donned the earning hat & initiated delivering meal on a cycle across Hyderabad(Hyd).
Talking to ANI, the B.Tech student in Medak Engineering(engr.) College, Aqeel stated he was delivering meal on his own cycle from Feb 2024.
Fiscal condition
“Because of the fiscal condition of my family (4), it has been getting tough for them to give amount for my college education. Thus, I initiated delivering meal on a cycle in Feb,” he stated.
According to Aqeel, he’s to deliver 12 to 13 orders in a day to earn about INR 500.
“I don’t have amount to purchase a bike. However, it doesn’t issue. Ultimately, the work (5) that you accomplish is important & just how willingly you accomplish it,” he stated.
Less earnings
In spite of his own tough work (5) & positive attitude towards his own job, Aqeel’s earnings are under that of his own contemporaries with bikes.
“The payout of the delivery application for that I work (5) is various for two-wheeler delivery executives & for cycle delivery executives. As I’ve a cycle ID, thus I’m only given deliveries of about five kilometers radius from that hotel. The cycle delivery executives are made payment under remaining,” he said.
However even the wage gap couldn’t de-motivate Aqeel & he stated that all he cares regarding is earning a residing & his own job helps in that.
