Hyderabad: HSPA holds unique protest against private schools

Hyderabad(Hyd): Hyderabad(Hyd) Educational institution Parents Association on Mon. conducted a unique dissent here over violation of GO (Govt order)-46 by private educational institutions throughout COVID-19, where they set up 2 boxes, 1 to collect case & different to collect the flower, that going to be thereafter sent to Telangana (TL)’s Director of Educational institution Education.

Speaking to ANI, Venkat, Vice President of Hyderabad(Hyd) Educational institution Parents Association (HSPA) stated that the association was requesting for an appointment with the Director of Educational institution Education, however haven’t got 1 till now, & thus we ruled to lodge a dissent by sending the 2 boxes of cases & flowers to her.

“We were getting cases from parents across Telangana (TL) Educational institutions. There is a common issue everywhere, of educational institutions not following GO-46. We were requesting for an appointment with the Director of Educational institution Education, however haven’t got 1 till now. Thus we’re sending her cases with flowers,” he stated.

Seema Agarwal, a representative of HSPA clarified,”We’re doing this unique dissent because educational institutions aren’t following the GO-46. Private educational institutions are insisting complete dues. GO-46 that has been released by this CM has 2 points. 1 the fee could’t be rised throughout COVID-19 epidemic, & 2nd that only nominal tuition fee could be insisted.”

She added further that private educational institutions are manipulating the fee structure & have notr lowered the dues.

“The earnings of parents were affected because of COVID-19. Our insist is either the educational institutions take (2) only 50 percent of the overall fee, (or) take (2) nominal fee mentioned on the CBSE site,” Agarwal stated.

Shehtaj Khan, a parent who attended within the dissent stated that they inquired the administration for the permission to hold a dissent, however because because of COVID-19 epidemic huge gatherings aren’t permitted, their own appeal has been refused.

“Our issue is that the govt & administration is not executing the GO-46. Parents of about 200 educational institutions within the state are with us. In case parents aren’t granting the dues, their own kids are eliminated from on-line lessons, depriving them of their own right to education,” Khan stated.
