Initiate action against overcharging hospitals: Jagan to officials

Hyderabad(Hyd): Advocating for best healthcare of residents, AP (AP) chief minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tue. stated that serious action must be started over hospitals that are over-charging sufferers above the government-stipulated money for COVID-19 medication,

Reddy, during this state govt’s Spandana program with dist. collectors & police superintendents, informed them that measures must be made to look after the COVID-19 sufferers on humanitarian grounds. He expressed happiness over the state standing 1st in implementing COVID-19 tests & added further that those who’re in risk (of losing their own lives) could be saved in case tests are held quickly.

Reddy also stated that the sooner COVID-19 instances are detected the best as sufferers could be sent house for isolation as well. The chief minister also instructed collectors to have full scrutiny over the COVID-19 hospitals so that checking sufferers is ramped up & berths are given to those requiring medication in half-an-hour.

He said that top priority must be given to 104, 14410 & different call centers where sufferers call. The CM stated that all this COVID-19 hospitals in AP must also be fully prepared with oxygen supply & different paraphernalia for the medication of sufferers. Hospitals treating COVID-19 sufferers must be given ratings accordingly.

Reviewing the flood status in AP, Jagan Mohan Reddy also thanked god as inflows into the Godavari river have decrease. He said that crop loss must be estimated before Sep 7 (because of the heavy rain). The chief minister instructed state govt authorities to develop a schedule by Sep Seven to pay an extra compensation of INR 2,000 every to the sufferers of Godavari floods.
