Maha: 2 held for killing tribal woman in Palghar

Palghar: A 62-year-old person & his own son have been detained for reportedly killing the previous’s stepdaughter in Vikramgad taluka of Maharashtra(MH)’s Palghar dist., police officer said on Thu.

The dist. rural police captured Bapji Kanjade & his own son Santosh (30) on Wed. night for reportedly attacking Sakhu Baraf (39), who passed away thereafter in a hospital (3), inspector Mahesh Balwantrao of Vikramgad PS (police station) stated.

The duo had assaulted the sufferer with a crowbar when she has been asleep in her home in Salshi village, the officer said.

The sufferer has been Bapji’s stepdaughter & the duo had doubted her role, he stated.

A complaint under segment 302 (killing) of the IPC was lodged over the detained charged, the officer added further.
