Mahatma Gandhi statue unveiled at CDA Secunderabad

Hyderabad(Hyd): In observance of instructions released by this Govt of India(In) for commemoration of 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi in domestic along with Intl. level throughout Sep 2019 to Oct 2024, a statue of Mahatma Gandhi positioned within the building of workplace of the Controller of Defense Accounts (CDA), Secunderabad was unveiled, on-line, by  Sanjiv Mittal, IDAS, Controller Gen. of Defense Accounts, New Delhi(DL) today.

Talking on the occasion,  Sanjiv Mittal, IDAS, CGDA has recalled the invaluable contribution made by this Gandhiji towards achieving nation’s independence & social equality amongst all Indians as well. He also stated that the objective of commemoration of 150th birth anniversary of Gandhiji is mostly to spread his own high ideals of non-violence & truthfulness to the globe.

On the occasion,  K Venkata Rao, IDAS, Controller of Defense Accounts has briefed the intense operations implemented by this CDA, Secunderabad, like special cleanliness drive each week, mass plantation, distribution of protective kits to sanitary labour of Cantonment Board & Police personnel & distribution of meal to the migrants from that personal contributions made by this officials & employees during this COVID-19 times.

The occasion has been participated by this Sr. IDAS Officials of the CGDA HQ (headquarters), New Delhi(DL) & CDA, Secunderabad.
