The Ananda Patil, 56-year-old NCP leader was hacked to death on Sunday(2 Feb 2024) by 2 individuals in Sangli district of Maharashtra, cops stated.
The departed, Ananda Patil, is a bro of Gajanan Patil who is a personal assistant (PA) of deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.
The deceased was likewise a Sarpanch of Khatav town.
The event happened near Khatav town in Palus tehsil when Ananda Patil was returning from his farm on his motorbike, a law enforcement officer stated.
“2 individuals assaulted him with a sharp-edged weapon around 11.30 am and got away. He was required to healthcare facility however caught his injuries throughout treatment,” he stated.
The intention behind the murder is under examination, he added.
