Nigerian national held while trying to enter Bangladesh

Kolkata: A Nigerian domestic & a lady have been apprehended by Border Security Enforce when they attempted to enter Bangladesh using Hazrakhali outpost in WB’s Nadia dist. on Tue..

The border guards had suspended the 2 people nearby outpost within the early hours of Tue. when they have been trying to cross the border, a BSF announcement stated.

The Nigerian domestic has been detected as Chikanso Ibezim, presently staying in Noida region, near Delhi(DL). He’d come to India(In) on a student visa in Oct, 2015.

Ibezim informed the interrogators that he’d come to Kolkata in a special train from New Delhi(DL) 1 day back, hired a taxi to approach Bagula in Nadia dist., & has been scheduling to cross over to Bangladesh “to check the nation as a traveller”, the announcement stated.

The Nigerian, who had finished his own M.Tech from Mewar University, stated that he’d made payment amount to a tout.

The lady was detected as Laxmi Rajbanshi, a native of Kanchrapara in North 24 Parganas dist..

She were inquired by this same tout to cross the border with the Nigerian, Rajbanshi informed the interrogators.

Both people were handed over to the Hanskhali PS (police station) & a manhunt was initiated for the tout, the announcement stated.
