Palestinian PM says dialogue between Fatah, Hamas in Turkey ‘encouraging’

Ramallah: Palestinian PM Mohammed Ishtaye declared that the dialog between chiefs of Hamas & Fatah in Turkey is “encouraging.”

Ishtaye on Wed. stated in a press announcement that the meetings between the 2 movements focused on “agreeing on holding the Palestinian gen. elections,” adding that “the atmosphere imparts raise to hope”, Xinhua press agency recorded.

He went on informing that “there is hope for approaching the desired results by completing reconciliation & turning the page on division.”

Ishtaye stated that his own govt is “prepared to fulfil all this requirements for the success of these elections as a gateway to renewing democratic personal life & solidifying the wall of domestic unity.”

“The domestic unity going to give the Palestinian citizens extra immunity to the face of the severe risks that threaten the presence of the Palestinian cause,” stated Ishtaye.

Chiefs of the 2 rival movements, Fatah & Hamas, started 2 days back bilateral meetings in Istanbul in Turkey.
