Hyderabad(Hyd): The parents of Kapuria, the twelve-year-old Sumedha Kapuria,, who lost her personal life after falling into an open nala in Malkajgiri region on Thu. after the incessant rains in this city, registered a case over Minister for Urban Development (devt) KT Rama Rao, GHMC Mayor, Zonal Commissioner, regional corporator & remaining accountable, stressing that it has been because of GHMC’s carelessness & incompetence that their own daughter passed away.
AICC spokesman Dasoju Sravan commanded Sumedha’s parents Abhijit & Sukanya & stood by their own side, as the bereaved parents registered the case in Neredmet PS (police station).
“We were staying in Deendayal Nagar, Malkajgiri area for over 2 yrs. & numerous a time regional locals had complained regarding open nalas in the last. Colony locals gave representations to Municipal Affairs Minister KTR, GHMC Mayor, regional corporator to solve the issue of open nalas. However no 1 has responded. In case those in accountable positions had performed previously, our daughter would were saved today. We feel that no parent must suffer like us within the future. No child must again face the same fate. Thus insisting justice for Sumedha, we’ve registered a case over the Municipal Affairs Minister & remaining who’re decision-makers,” stated Sukanya Kapuria, after filing the case in Neredmet PS (police station).
Talking after filing the case in Neredmet PS (police station), Congress Sr. leader Dasoju Sravan stated that It’s quite sad to watch that a young lady’s personal life lost because of the utter carelessness of GHMC. Municipal Affairs Minister KT Rama Rao who states that TRS govt has developed Hyderabad(Hyd) city by spending INR 60,000 cr didn’t even check the lady’s family (4) & didn’t even ask regarding the incident.
He furthermore added further that, such is the callousness of this TRS administration. There is no accountability in this govt. TRS chiefs are busy in corruption & take (2) no responsibility. Congress party insists accountability from that govt. Congress party welcomes the determination of Sumedha’s parents. The Congress party going to stand by them & fight for justice for Sumedha.
“Police have conveniently registered a missing complaint in the case of Sumedha’s demise, also over an Assistant Engineer (AE) & Divisional Engineer (DE). This is nothing however shielding those in power & creating lower rung employees scapegoats. Municipal Minister KTR, Hyderabad(Hyd) mayor, zonal commissioner, regional corporator are accountable for the demise of Sumedha. We’ll start a mass campaign for achieving ‘JusticeforSumedha’ & fight until guilty are punished,” added further Dasoju Sravan, talking on the occasion.
Narasimha Swamy, Circle Inspector, Neredmet PS (police station) stated, A complaint is already lodged U/s 174 CrPC in Sumedha’s problem & is under inquiry. In case any regional GHMC officials carelessness is identified afterwards they’ll be booked.
