Patanjali can sell its drug but not as cure for COVID-19

Haridwar: Yoga guru Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurved on Wed. stated there have been no AYUSH Ministry constraints on selling Coronil, a drug the firm just recently initiated as medicine for COVID-19 however is as of now calling it a product to manage the disease.

The Union ministry affirmed that Patanjali could sell the product however not as a cure for COVID-19.

AYUSH Ministry has only given permission to sell this specific formulation as immunity booster & not as a medicinal cure for Corona, it stated.

In a press conference in Haridwar, Ramdev said the ministry has stated that Patanjali did a relevant job for COVID-19 Mgmt.

The Uttarakhand(UK) dept. has been amongst the agencies that had questioned Patanjali’s claim to have developed a drug to cure COVID-19. It stated the firm had only being given a license to manufacture an immunity booster.
