West Godavari: The Eluru rural police captured close to 400 kilograms of Ganja being illegally transported from Visakhapatnam dist. to Krishna dist., here on Sun. night.
The police also captured 2 cars, 2 mobiles & arrested 4 people.
Eluru DSP Dileep Kiran stated, “Almost 400 kg of Ganja was captured whose market worth is approximately INR 32 lakhs. They have been transporting the cannabis on 2 cars from Narsipatnam & surrounding regions in Visakhapatnam dist. to Vissannapeta in Krishna dist..”
“The transporters have been detected as Arli Srinu & Gali Krishna from Rolugunta Mandal of Visakhapatnam dist.. Srinu & Krishna took 2 ladies to accompany them so that nobody would suspect them,” the DSP added further.
