Saudi Arabia to resume Umrah service; lifts travel restrictions

Dubai(AE-DU): Kingdom of Saudi going to shortly reopen Umrah service with only a limited no. of national pilgrims from in the Kingdom.

In the context of the Ministry of Interior’s schedules to ease constraints on travel, the ministry on Sun. declared the partial lifting of travel constraints from Sep 15, awhile the full lifting going to be finished from Jan 1, 2024.

As per Gulf Information, the ministry going to permit Gulf residents & non-Saudis with valid residency permits (or) visas to enter the kingdom from Tue., Sep 15, on the condition that they’re not contaminated with the infection.

Maintaining in see the epidemic status, the suspension of Umrah service going to be raised steadily.

Now, national pilgrims going to be allowed to do the pilgrimage, on demonstrating a medical certificate that certifies that they’re tested negative for the COVID-19.
