Single-day Covid-19 cases hit record high: WHO

Geneva, September 14 : The amount of single-day COVID-19 instances world-wide has hit a new report high, stated the Globe Health Company (WHO).

In an announcement on Sun., the WHO stated that there have been 307,930 new instances world-wide within the last 24 hours, the largest single-day figure ever lodged & regarding 1,000 over the recent recording-setting daily caseload a week previously, records Xinhua press agency.

As of Mon. in the morning, the total no. of global COVID-19 instances stood in 28,891,676, awhile the demises have rised to 922,441, as per the Johns Hopkins University.

The US accounted for the globe’s largest no. of instances & demises in 6,519,121 & 194,041 respectively.

India(In) is presently within the 2nd place in terms of instances in 4,754,356, awhile the nation’s number of deaths stood in 78,586.

Brazil lodged the globe’s second-highest COVID-19-19 number of deaths, after the US, & the globe’s third-largest complaint count.

On Sun., it recorded 415 new fatalities that taken the total number of deaths to 131,625.

The nation also recorded 14,768 new instances, taking the overall caseload to 4,330,455.
