South Africa’s 3TC Match Rescheduled to July 18

Johannesburg: Cricket South Africa on Wed. declared a new date for the 3TCricket match that going to as of now be performed on Jul 18, the Nelson Mandela Intl. Day.

During this 3TCricket match, 3 groups of 8 going to play in a single match, competing for the inaugural Solidarity Cup.

The information comes after back to practise & play sanction has been granted by this Minister of Sport, Arts & Culture, Nathi Mthethwa on Jun 26.

The match information remain the same with SuperSport Park as the hosting venue & the beginning time being 11:00 (SAST). The 3 groups competing for the Solidarity Cup going to be captained by AB de Villiers, Kagiso Rabada, & Quinton de Kock.

CSA Acting Chief Executive Jacques Faul stated Nelson Mandela Intl. Day is the most relevant day to hold the event.

“It’s quite exciting to gain live cricket, featuring our top players, back on our TV screens again. I could’t think of a extra relevant day on that to hold this game than Nelson Mandela Day when its prime objective is to rise funds for those who were badly affected by this COVID-19,” Faul stated in an announcement.

“It’s still nearly 3 weeks far away, so and also imparts our players extra time to develop correctly & to minimise the opportunity of wounds.

I’d like to appreciate the Govt & our own medical tandem once again for everything they’ve finished to make a back to training & playing possible & I’d also like to add special gratitude to the incredible sponsors engaged in this event for their own continued dedication towards the match & its beneficiary, the Hardship Fund,” he added further.
