Telangana Records 975 New Corona Cases in Last 24 Hours: 975 new COVID-19 cases, 6 Deaths in Telangana

HYDERABAD: The rise in COVID-19 instances in Telangana (TL) continued with 975 citizens testing positive(+ve) on Mon., pushing the state’s toll to 15,394.

Health authorities stated the state also recorded 6 demises during this day, taking the toll to 253.

For the 2nd day in a row, the amount of instances had come down marginally. On Sun., 983 citizens had tested positive(+ve).

Although, the positivity rate remained high. The amount of tests on Mon. has been 2,648 over 3,227 on Sun.

As per the director of people health & family (4) welfare, the cumulative no. of tests rose to 85,106.

Up to 410 citizens recovered during this day, taking the overall no. of recoveries to 5,582.

A overall of 9,559 citizens are presently under medication either in hospitals (or) in their own houses.

Greater Hyderabad(Hyd) remained the worst-affected area accounting for 861 of the new instances. Ranga reddy & Medchal dists bordering Hyderabad recorded 60 instances. The rest instances have been recorded from 13 dists.

The day saw Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali testing positive(+ve). He has been confessed to a corporate hospital (3) in Hyderabad(Hyd). His own condition is said to be stable.

Deputy Speaker of Telangana (TL) Assembly T. Padma Rao also recorded to have tested positive(+ve) with 2 kids in his own family (4). They have been kept under house quarantine.

Padma Rao is the 4th MLA from ruling Telangana (TL) Rashtra Samithi (TRS) to test positive(+ve).

Also on Mon., a central tandem commanded by Joint Secretary, Union Ministry of Health, Medical & Family (4) Welfare, Luv Agarwal, toured COVID-19 designated hospitals in Hyderabad(Hyd) & engaged with top authorities.

The central tandem recommended to the state to target on confinement steps, rising checking capability, tracing & clinical Mgmt within the state. An action schedule for the next 2 mos must be formulated maintaining in see the likely rise within the instances.

The tandem toured Gandhi Hospital & the newly created Telangana (TL) Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) in Gachibowli.

The panel also toured the confinement region of Dhobigalli in Domalaguda & taken stock of the field level status.

Thereafter the tandem met the Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar & different Sr. officials & conducted an elaborated conversation on the steps to be taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The health dept. made an elaborated presentation on the steps taken for COVID-19 Mgmt within the state. The tandem has been briefed on the surveillance & confinement steps, hospital (3) preparedness, procurement of protection equipment & preventative steps.

The tandem has been informed that the state has a capability of 17,081 berths. The govt has recruited 4,489 extra employees to strengthen medication. A number of INR 475.74 crores was sanctioned towards strengthening medical infra-structure.

The central tandem revealed their own ground check experience of different states & expressed satisfaction particularly welcomed the hospital (3) Mgmt within the state.
