Clouds of mosquitoes were so thick in south-west Louisiana(LA) from Hurricane Laura that they’re killing animals, involving horses & cattle. The vast no. of bites leave horses & cattle anemic & bleeding under their own skins.
The animals also becomes exhausted from continuously moving in an trying to avoid the biting insects, a large-animal veterinarian based in Ville Platte informed The Associated Press this week.
“They’re vicious little suckers,” stated Dr. Craig Fontenot.
