Previous Nashville Council Member Tony Tenpenny, a Trump-loving Republican who published anti-face mask memes on Facebook(FB), has passed away from complications resulting from being contaminated from COVID-19.
The Tennessean records that Tenpenny “has been hospitalized for over a mo in one such St. Thomas hospitals & has been positioned on a ventilator previously in Sep” before he passed away over the weekend.
Nashville Mayor John Cooper expressed his own condolences after hearing of Tenpenny’s passing.
“I’m deeply saddened to hear of the passing of previous councilman Tony Tenpenny,” he stated. “I send my condolences to his own spouse, Robbie, their own son Ira & the rest of the Tenpenny family (4).”
Tenpenny frequently railed over COVID-19 constraints on his own Facebook(FB) page, & he published memes that assaulted masks in the context of a socialist plot, awhile also directly accusing the Centres for Disease Curb & Prevention of cunning regarding the severity of the disease.
Tenpenny’s Facebook(FB) page has been also filled with memes & content supportive of President Donald Trump.
