TS: COVID negative report must for attending monsoon session

Hyderabad(Hyd): All members of both homes of the Telangana (TL) Legislature going to have to go through a COVID-19-19 test & only those who test negative going to be permitted to participate the monsoon session, starting Sep 7.

Aside from all members of the Legislative Assembly & Legislative Council, the employees, media people covering the session, personal employees of the ministers & marshals have to go through the tests before Sep six & submit their own records.

The call has been taken on Fri. in a gathering Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy conducted with Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy, Legislative Affairs Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy & authorities on the arrangements for the session.

Special arrangements

The Speaker stated from the session has been being conducted amidst the COVID-19-19 epidemic, special arrangements would be made to make sure physical distancing & different regulations.

All legislators, employees members & remaining going to have to mandatorily wear masks. “Those without face masks won’t be permitted,” he stated.

2 special diagnostic centers were set up within the Assembly & the Council with experienced doctors & medical employees for the legislators. 2 ambulances going to also be kept prepared.

The legislators could go through COVID-19 tests in their own respective dists. Both the presiding officials requested to legislators, employees & remaining not to come for the session in case they test positive(+ve) (or) have COVID-19 signs.

Kit

Each legislator going to be given a kit comprising an oximeter, mask, sanitiser & different items.

Prashanth Reddy stated seating arrangements in both Assembly & Council halls have been turned to make sure six-feet gap between 2 members. Extra seats have been given for this in both the Homes.

The Municipal Administration & Health Branches & Greater Hyderabad(Hyd) Municipal Corporation would take (2) up sanitisation of the Assembly building & surroundings twice a day.

No entry for visitors

Awhile a couple of aides of ministers going to be permitted, no personal employees of legislators going to be allowed during this session. There going to be no entry for visitors during this session, that is likely to last for 20 days.

Media people won’t be permitted in lobbies awhile the media point in Assembly building going to be eliminated to avoid crowding.

Chiefs of different parties habituated to address media people in media point throughout each session.
