Ghaziabad: Ghaziabad’s Murad Nagar police have detained 2 citizens, involving a lady, for fraudulently withdrawing amount from citizens’s accounts using ATMs, an officer said here on Sat..
As per police, they habituated to replace citizens’s ATM cards with duplicate ones in the ATM kiosks, pretending to support them in withdrawing amount.
They were detected as Shazad, a native of Loni; & Aisha of Maujpur, Delhi(DL).
Sr. Supervisor of Police Kalanidhi Naithani stated they have been detained from Naveen Mandi on Rawli Road of Murad Nagar.
They admitted to deceiving multiple citizens, the SSP stated.
Police recovered 86 ATM cards of various banks, a stolen two-wheeler, & INR 52,000 in money from them. They have been produced before a court, that sent them to jail, the SSP added further.
