Two held for smuggling of arms in UP’s Mathura

Mathura: 2 citizens have been captured near Mathura’s Chauki Bangar Tiraha awhile reportedly trying to smuggle arms from a neighbouring state, police officer said here on Sat..

5 factory-made guns have been recovered from them on Fri. night, they added further.

The charged were detected as Mubba, nicknamed Mubarik, & Ummar, police officer said, adding that they have been intercepted in Chauki Bangar Tiraha within the Kosi Kalan PS (police station) when trying to smuggle guns from Haryana(HR).

As per police, in order to conceal their own operations, they disassembled barrels from that main part of every gun & kept these in a jute bag.

In place of utilizing some of the vehicle, they traveled on foot, police officer said.

From they’ve revealed a smuggling racket, different citizens engaged in it’ll be captured, SP (Rural) Srish Chand stated.
