Neyveli: 2 people have been died, a no. of labour feared trapped & 16 remaining wounded here on Wed., when a boiler erupted in the NLC India(In)’s thermal plant, an officer said.
The mishap occured in the 5th unit of the thermal power station-II (210 MW x 7) when labour have been within the procedure of resuming activities this in the morning.
“2 people passed away on the location. Some of the labour are feared trapped & 16 remaining have sustained wounds,” the officer informed PTI adding the wounded were dashed to a hospital (3) in Chennai.
