Women of GMRV Foundation make 30K masks, 6K PPE kits in 4 months

Hyderabad(Hyd): A crowd of 14 ladies in GMR Varalakshmi Foundation (GMRVF) Hyderabad(Hyd) center were crafting face masks & PPE kits for the last 4 mos & have made over 30,000 face masks & 6,000 PPE kits.

Awhile this project imparts an chance to GMRVF ladies to contribute to the battle against COVID, it’s also contributing them to produce some of the income for their own families even during this lockdown & COVID-induced economic downturn.

“We feel proud that GMRVF’s skilled ladies are in the forefront generating PPE & face masks to equip the frontline COVID soldiers. As an organisation, we’re dedicated to our social responsibilities & are pleased that our empowered ladies are contributing citizens in this critical hour when it’s required the most. These skilled ladies are getting extra orders from pharma agencies for PPE kits that are high on stitching quality.

With the Intl. service getting resumed in a calibrated way under Air Bubble {arrangement} of Center, GMRVF has also resumed its Empower outlet in the Intl. departures in security hold region of the Hyderabad(Hyd) Intl. Air port.
