Yediyurappa allays fears on rising COVID cases in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Ensuring the 1.2 cr denizens of offering extra berths & facilities for medication, Karnataka(KA) CM B.S. Yediyurappa on Mon. allayed their own fears on raising COVID-19 instances in Bengaluru.

“Compared to metros like Mumbai (Bombay), Delhi(DL), Chennai & Kolkata, the overall no. of COVID-19 instances in Bengaluru is 3,314 until Sun., with 2,692 active as 533 were discharged, awhile 88 have passed away from Mar 10. There is no cause for panic,” Yediyurappa informed journalists here.

Claiming that the status has been under curb, the chief minister requested to the citizens to precisely observe the instructions like wearing mask, hand washing & keeping physical distancing in any cost to prevent being contaminated.

“It’s the work of all residents in this city & the state to take (2) care of themselves from that epidemic even though the state govt is doing its finest to make sure the affected citizens are handled & cured in the earliest,” asserted Yediyurappa.

The chief minister met heads of private hospitals to make sure 2,500 berths have been kept prepared to confess asymptomatic COVID-19 sufferers for quarantining in this city.

“Sports stadiums, marriage halls, convention centers, educational institutions & colleges around the city going to be readied with berths & health-care facilities to handle extra instances within the event of extra citizens testing positive(+ve),” he reiterated.

Anticipating a rise in instances in Jul & Aug, the state govt is mulling strict action over the infection spread.

“Although Bengaluru accounts for 25.92 percent of the overall COVID-19-19 instances (13,190) within the southern state, the govt is taking all steps to make sure each patient gets the finest medication,” stated Medical Education Minister K. Sudhakar.

The state govt has modified the instructions to curb the infection.

“There going to be overall lock-down around the state on Sundays from Jul five to Aug Two & daily curfew going to be from eight a.m. to five p.m. In this phase, citizens’s cooperation is vital. Don’t fear however beware,” added further Sudhakar.
