YSRCP leader criticises TDP for floods in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: Vijayawada East YSRCP in charge, Devineni Avinash, on Tue. assaulted the erstwhile Telugu Desam Party (TDP) regime for reportedly constructing a substandard retaining wall & abandoning it midway, leading to flooding in some of the parts of the city.

“Due to the previously regime’s carelessness, a substandard retaining wall has been built & abandoned midway, that resulted in these floods,” stated Avinash, who toured the flooded places on Tue..

Because of heavy rains, Krishnalanka, Krishna Karakatta & different places were flooded from Sun..

Avinash stated that heavy inflows have approached the Prakasam Barrage, prompting authorities to declare massive amounts of water.

Although, he stated the floods are gradually receding even though he alerted the residents to take (2) precautions.

He also criticised the regional MLA, Gadde Rammohan, for only creating affirmations without fulfilling them.

The YSRCP leader also stated that CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has already allotted funds for completing the wall & vowed that the state govt going to full it.
